Sarah Palin - MORON or GOP Savior? Discuss
Is Sarah Palin a moron or is she the savior of the GOP. What are your thoughts?

GOP savior in my opinion. She will make a GREAT president
Are you crazy? She is 6 beers short of a 6 pack!
She's good with buzzwords and trite soundbites, but nothing of substance. I'm sure she's a fine housewife, and considering that the mayor of Wasilla apparently doesn't actually DO anything (see Jon Stewart) she was probably fine as mayor. Hell, ANYBODY could do that job.
But as a potential President? Hell fucking no. You can't choose a national leader based on who can memorize Sunday School lines the best. Presidents need to be smarter, tougher, more dignified, and more competent than Sarah Palin could ever be in her wildest dreams.
She is exactly the reason why the GOP is going under. She represents the anti-intellectual, anti-education, anti-common sense religious fanatic wing that has now almost completely destroyed the party of Lincoln. She sings about Jesus and sucks at the corporate teat. She's nothing.
The GOP needs to get back to dignified, serious, intelligent party leaders again. The parade of Bible-thumping revivalists is wearing awfully thin.

I don't know about Palin, but thank goodness we'll have the lord god almighty Obamassiah as prez. With just the sound of his voice there will be peace throughout the word, the economy will rebound, no more illness or death will happen, and there will no longer be any rich or poor but just equals. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" is in the Constitution as far as Obama is concerned, and as one of his cult followers, I can't wait until he wins so all the world can fall down and worship him. How lucky we are to have him to hold our hands and lead us into his marvelous light. I am a proud liberal.

Whenever the words "smarter, tougher, dignified, and competent" are mentioned, the last person who fits that description is Barah Hussein Obama. He is stupid, weak, tacky, and incompetent. And that's his strong points.
When the words "anti-intellectual, anti-education, anti-common sense" are mentioned, that perfectly describes the modern-day liberal, especially those that reside within the Democratic Party and the Green Party. Of course, they aren't bright enough to recognize how stupid they are, which makes them even more fun to goof on. Should one ever wish to do so, go to either DailyKos or democraticunderground and observe the rampant hated of America, the Constitution, and anyone or anything that shows even the slightest type of independent thought beyond what Big Brother gov't tells you to do. Their threads desiring to kill those who are opposed to them are especially funny. Also the paranoia is palpable (that means noticeable, for all you liberals), it's like swimming through smoke.
Both. At least, her fans see her as a savior. Fortunately, most people - including and increasing number of republicans - can see that she is a moron.
Thankfully some are finally coming to their senses. We need balance in the government. We need sensible fiscal conservatives to balance the tendency of the left to throw money at problems. And we need the left to help protect the helpless from the harsh greed than tends to creep in with too much of that unfettered market type of thinking.
What we do NOT need is illiterate, bigoted, religious fanatics having major influence in our government. I applaud the responsible republicans who are coming to realize how dangerous courting these people has been.
